the holidays have passed. chloe is gearing up for the first round of 5th grade TAKS tests later this month. and tante had gall bladder surgery recently.
uh yeah. excitement and drama.
it was decided that it’s best for chloe and i to move next year. we’re leaning towards early june 2008. that way, he will have the opportunity to get started with law school and become acquainted with the community before chloe and i arrive with a myriad of after-school activities and playdates.
chloe became a member of student council when she returned from christmas break. she is enjoying the every other tuesday meetings… along with the sense of leadership and teamwork that is involved in the close-knit group.
the latest news in our quiet lives is the impending arrival of a close friend’s baby, who is due this month. the plan is for chloe to continue to help with the siblings this school year and to help with the baby as well this summer. these 2 (soon-to-be 3) boys have become like little brothers to chloe.
