I signed up with NaNoWriMo and Chloe signed up with the youth version. The goal of this project is to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November (from November 1st through the 30th). My uber intelligent daughter has already got her plot and basic idea in place, while I am still bouncing around several ideas.
We celebrated Chloe’s 145th month on this earth with dinner out on the 19th. I recommend the triple layer Midnight Fantasy cake to all who adore chocolate. After dinner, Chloe said that we needed to go there again! I think she might have a new favorite restaurant Oma & Opa rather than Chili’s. 😀
Map testing is behind us, I believe. I’m not sure when the results will be released officially. School pictures were taken on the 17th and as soon as they are in, I’ll disperse them.
The computer desk was brought over and set-up in her room on Sunday. It is larger than she was anticipating and without the monitor set-up or the usual mess that finds a home on a desk, I understand her questioning the massive size in relation to her room. Once everything is in place, I’m sure she’ll be complaining that the desk is too small to hold everything. 😀
have you signed up to receive emails when this spot is updated? if not, go over to the sidebar and sign up with bloglet. =) it’s to the right and maybe a bit towards the bottom, underneath the heading extras…
