Today we celebrate our niece’s first birthday. With cake.
I didn’t get a picture of the cake but I did eat three extremely tiny pieces. It was tasty.
I brought my scale on our weekend trip but I haven’t stepped on it. I know that I have to get back on track tomorrow. I haven’t completely derailed but if I don’t get back on board I know it will be so much more difficult to get back.

Cake is my weakness. Although I ate three pieces, they were thin slivers and barely equaled one piece of cake that I would have cut.
I hope to be better tomorrow. Both a better food consumer as well as a better blogger.
