On December 30th 2012, we three went to the Big City and spent our Christmas gift cards. I think it is safe to say that we were having great fun. After our first store, we went to lunch at a favorite restaurant, Chili’s. I ordered a salad that I had had before not to be particularly healthy but not thinking it was super outrageous. After our enjoyable lunch and while on our way to the next destination, I googled the nutrition facts of my delicious Santa Fe Chicken Salad.
My eyes got huge and I felt sick. Heavy and horrible. UGH!!!!!
At that moment I decided that though that salad was indeed very tasty that I never wanted to eat it again. I definitely did not think that it was not worth all of those calories.

I am still going to stick with my plan not to eat at Chili’s in 2013 only because the temptations there are too great. They have super delicious food and super nice servers.
Now the actual calorie count is NOT nearly as bad as I originally thought. 700 versus 4523.
Making good food choices is difficult. Making better choices is my goal this year.
