Thanks in large part to seeing a truly horrific {to me} number on my digital scale the day after Christmas 2012 {and further cheered on by my new friends on Instagram via the #alittletoofluffy challenge}, I have lost more than seventeen pounds and I’m not done.
Saturday the 16th is the final weigh-in for our #alittletoofluffy challenge and one person will win $360 by losing the highest percentage of weight in six weeks.
I am not going to stop my new healthier lifestyle just because this challenge ends or any other date occurs because paying attention to what I eat and being active are my new normal.
I believe that tracking every morsel of food that I eat and every beverage I drink has contributed greatly to my results. I use the LoseIt! app on my iPhone. It is handy because probably 9 times out of 10, my iPhone is in my hand or at the very least within easy reach. The scanner is amazing.
I also wear my Nike+ FuelBand daily. It tracks my movement and was a gift from my wonderful husband for Mother’s Day 2012. I am on track to earn 1,000,000 Nike+ FuelPoints before the end of 2013 – a major milestone.
