Back in the swing of things!!!
Woke up this morning and stepped on the scale. I was expecting the number to be up. I was not expecting a loss. I was not disappointed. Especially after a weekend of drinking and eating with extended family. I acknowledge my part in this yo-yo game and am trying to find the strength/will-power to make better choices every day no matter where I am or who I’m with.
I will run this evening. I will run at least three miles. I might walk some but I will not stop.
During my lunch break, I went to the grocery store to stock up on my breakfast bars. A chocolate hazelnut concoction from Atkins that is super delicious and does not taste healthy at all. Eating lunch on the run today and made the best of the situation. I said NO to both french fries and tater tots. Lunch was and will be my biggest meal of today.
This evening’s run/walk will be solo as my darling daughter must work this evening and I can guarantee that I will be calling my husband to come up to the track (or wherever I am at sunset) to pick me up.
