We celebrated on the 24th with my parents, baby sister, and DH’s dad. Opened presents, visited, and enjoyed our food buffet-style.
I didn’t snap a single picture of the food or DH’s dad. Not even a blurry group shot. This makes me sad.
On the 25th, we traveled to DH’s mom and step-dad’s house where we celebrated with them and more family. Turkey and dressing, rolls, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes… Good food and wine was consumed. And not a single photo of the food was taken. Not a single one.
I took thousands of photos of our sweet niece Adelynn – though I will share just one here.
Both DH and I worked on the 26th but we 3 met up with his step-mom and Nana afterwards at a local restaurant to exchange gifts. I continued the no photo theme though and didn’t snap a single picture but I did consume three Cape Cods during dinner. So tasty.
On the 27th, we visited long-time friends and exchanged presents. No photos.
And today will find us at my parents house to enjoy the last Sunday of 2014.
I learned something this season that I thought I already knew. I need to take more pictures when we are gathered with family and friends.
I hope y’all had a very Merry Christmas and wish y’all the best in the New Year!!!!!
