My bestie texted earlier this evening asking if we were going to a local festival and I had to say “no” because 1. My husband was working on his deer stand. 2. My husband doesn’t typically want to attend such events. But I told her that she should attend with her significant other for the both of us.
Not long after that conversation ended, my husband called and asked if I could bring him some sweet tea, an ice cream treat, and some tools because it was hot, he was thirsty, and he needed something that he didn’t have with him. On my way to fulfill his wish, I got stuck waiting for a very long train to pass.
